Honouring Our past, celebrating our future

Join us for the Niagara Regional Native Centre’s 10th Annual Nurturing Our Roots Traditional Pow Wow!

This year, we return to the Meridian Centre in downtown St Catharines on October 5th, 2024, to honor our past and celebrate our future with a vibrant event that promises to be a memorable experience for all.

Immerse yourself in the rich traditions and culture of our Indigenous community through captivating dance performances, soul-stirring music, and exquisite art. Savor the flavors of traditional foods prepared with love and care. Browse through a variety of traditional vendors offering unique crafts and goods, each telling a story of heritage and artistry.

Connect with friends old and new as we come together to celebrate our shared heritage and look forward to a bright future.

Event Parking & Accessibility

on-site parking is limited to accessible spaces with a government-issued permit displayed within your vehicle. However, the Meridian Centre's drop off area is available at the front of the building. There is no parking on site. The downtown core of St. Catharines is the ideal place to park while giving you easy access to the Meridian Centre through our bridge entrances.

We recommend the Ontario Street Garage or the Carlisle Street Garage. Click HERE to view city parking spots and garages as well as directions. Parking fees vary by location. All municipal parking is free on weekends. We recommend those with accessibility requirements park at the Carlisle Street Garage.

Shuttle Service will be available from 11am to 6pm. Pick-up and drop off locations are In front of the Parking Garage on Ontario Street, and Infront of the Box Office Entrance at Meridian Centre
